It has been a truly amazing year with our little Sweet Pea. She has brightened our lives beyond what we could have ever imagined. She is funny, independent, sweet and joyful. We are so in love.
Sweet Pea has taken her first few steps and will soon be walking independently, I'm sure. She says Mama, Dada, Woof (she's listened to our dogs bark enough...) and Gone (as in gone-gone...peek-a-boo!). She blows kisses, waves hi and bye (ALL. THE. TIME), gives open-mouth kisses (silly girl!), crawls everywhere, pulls herself up on mama's jeans, walks along the furniture and walls and anything else possible, plays independently and LOVES reading books. It is so amazing to watch her play - she is constantly learning something new!!
She sleeps like a champ - 11 or 12 hours a night, plus 2 naps during the day (unless mama has her out and about too much, then it is only 1 nap). She is eating anything put in front of her and she has 5 teeth now. She is still nursing, but we are down to just morning and night for the most part. But I still enjoy that time with her. :)
We went in for her 1 year checkup yesterday and she is still our little peanut! She was 27 inches long (4th percentile) and 18.25 pounds (9th percentile). But she eats like crazy and is a happy and healthy girl, so no worries at this point!
We had a little party at Grandma and Grandpa's last night, and this Saturday we have Sweet Pea's 'official' party with family and friends. :) Can't wait!

Had to come back to add a picture of her with her favorite new toy...or at least one of them! She loves to play. And the bedhead and pj's...well, it's a bit of a lazy morning around here. :)
